“Once we are the authority in our own
life, we are there” Joseph Campbell
Tom DuMontier, M.A. Life often proves not to be easy, and to navigate well through its
rigors requires a combination of important life skills, necessary creative style, and a connection with our inherent
internal intelligence — and these are some of the issues Tom focuses upon in therapy. He is the father of two sons
and is deeply dedicated to solidly building a healing therapeutic setting that affords continued growth and relational
enhancement to the people that approach him in therapy.
“Meeting of passion and compassion”
Life situations are often overwhelming, and Tom believes psychological
work and spiritual development can move one’s life into areas of clarity and vitality, while building a profound
sense of belonging within an individual.
“The only refuge a person has in this
world
is in another person’s heart.”
Tom attempts to bring a mature grace into the profession, coming from
a successful business career both as a chief engineer and from owning his own business.
He is educated in a Jungian-Transpersonal perspective
